Pieter is an experienced technical security analyst with over 8 years of experience. He has experience in technical security assessments/advice, penetration testing, incident response and threat management. In recent years he specifically focused on prevention, detection and response on targeted attacks/APTs and other cyber crime. Besides his technical knowledge he is an advisor with broader knowledge in the area of information security, auditing and IT processes. His areas of expertise are: - Complex penetration tests & red-teaming - Incident response - Strategic threat intelligence and threat management - Technical evaluations and risk analysis from a hacker viewpoint Pieter is actively participating in security research; he regularly gives guest lectures at universities and performs research in the area of EMV payments, mobile security, malware and cybercrime.
