Over Rachel Marbus

Rachel Marbus has a background in journalism and has been a legal adviser in the field of ICT and law for seven years; as such, she specializes in (data) privacy law and compliance. Her advisory experience focuses on privacy, identity management, cyber crime, and information security, as well as general (societal) matters in the information society. Ms. Marbus has vast experience of specific data privacy issues and questions related to sensitive data. In the recent past, she has managed several projects related to identity management, trust, privacy, and compliance. Ms. Marbus is an experienced lecturer and publicist in the field of information security, privacy, and identity management. She is a Ph.D. candidate at the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology, and Society, focusing on identity management in social online environments. She is a board member of the Dutch Platform for Information Security (PvIB).
